The Dr. Aghayev approach

Treatment plans that are clear before you arrive.

By the time a patient lands in Istanbul, they already know the hospital where they will be treated, the members of their personal care team, the sequence of the procedure, and the logistics of the stay.

No translators, no intermediaries. Dr. Aghayev speaks directly with patients in English, Turkish, and Russian. Arabic-speaking patients are cared for by dedicated Arabic-speaking clinic managers throughout their visit. Every patient gets a direct conversation in their own language, from first inquiry to post-operative follow-up.

The Istanbul Visit

How the Istanbul visit works

The surgeon who reviews your case is the surgeon in the operating room.

Istanbul — Sultanahmet and the Bosphorus
  1. I.

You send your case. Dr. Aghayev reviews it.

Share your imaging and medical history remotely. Dr. Aghayev reviews each submission personally and responds with a direct assessment. Sometimes the answer is that surgery isn't needed — and that matters, too.

  2. II.

We plan your visit before you land.

Hospital, accommodation, airport transfer, examination schedule: all arranged in advance by a dedicated team member who stays your point of contact throughout.

  3. III.

    Examination and imaging, same day.

Initial consultation at the office in Bakırköy. If additional scans are needed, they're done in the same building. The surgical plan is confirmed face to face.

  4. IV.

Surgery at a partner hospital. Same surgeon, same team.

The operation is performed at a university hospital in Istanbul. Dr. Aghayev operates personally. His team manages your hospital stay — you don't navigate hospital administration on your own.

  5. V.

Follow-up doesn't end when you fly home.

Before you fly home, you return to the office for a post-operative review. After that, remote follow-up continues for as long as you need it: weeks, months, or years.

I was up and walking 2 hours after surgery. Within 3 days I was out of the hospital and in a hotel walking 10km each day. After 10 days I was flying home.

For 4 long years, I suffered from debilitating pain due to Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, only to be dismissed by numerous doctors in the U.S. who said it was like nothing. Dr. Aghayev accurately diagnosed my condition. I am now pain-free.

He was always in touch when we needed to talk with him and answered all of our questions. And believe me, we had a lot of questions before the operation and during the whole stay in the hospital.

He advised me to do physiotherapy for a while before going into surgery in case of no improvement. That reflects his honesty and work morality. Definitely recommended.
